Romantic Interests: None. Severus does not like romance, but he does like
sex. He tends to like men for his more sexual endeavors, though he has
experimented with women in the past.

Personality of Character: Since the end of the war, Severus has calmed down
some, anger slowly fading into coldness. Without the stress of being a
double agent, some might even say that he's mellowed out, but his tongue is
still as sharp as ever to those he feels are beneath him or just idiots. He
does not like people, even fellow Death Eaters, and does not go out of his
way to hide that. One is still an idiot no matter what side of the war they
were on. He's less prone to paranoia now, though he is still quite quick to
anger and when he can, remains by himself.

Characterʼs History: Severus did not have a happy childhood. Hated by his
wizarding family for being a half-blood and hated by his father for being a
wizard, the only people he could turn to were his mother and himself. Not
that this was much help as the closer the two got, the more Severus' father
despised him.

His Hogwarts' years were not much better. Here he finally made a few
friends, or as close to friends as he would ever find, but it also earned
him the enmity of a few Gryffindors. This itself was not so bad, only when
the pranks began to roll and in sixth year when Sirius Black almost had him
killed by Remus Lupin. After that, Severus stayed mainly to himself.

After Hogwarts' he joined the Death Eaters along with those friends he had
made during his years in school there. It only took a few years for him to
change his mind, but knowing the only way one left the Death Eaters was in a
wooden box, he turned spy -- a job he retains to this day.

Returning to Hogwarts was a blow to his pride, but one that he took.
Dumbledore welcomed him back and made him Professor of Potions and later
Head of Slytherin House, though in Harry Potter's sixth year of Hogwarts, he
was made Defense against the Dark Arts Professor -- a position he had wanted
for far too long. At the end of the year however, he killed Dumbledore when
Draco Malfoy failed to do so and thus secured his place with the Death
Eaters.

A position he has retained to this day and if he feels any regrets about
what he's done, it's known only to Severus.
